Co-Located LTE Frame Configuration & LTE FDD

Does anyone know whether the LTE Frame configuration for PMP 450 access points, needs to be enabled at all, when they are co-located with LTE FDD radios? Does the LTE FDD affect the operation of the 3.6 GHz PMP 450s at all?

Hey @Nelson_D_Dzator! Welcome to the Cambium community forums!

To my knowledge there are no carriers using TDD FDD on CBRS/B48… only TDD. For PMP450 to sync with LTE TDD, you’d need to use Cambium’s PMP-LTE and PMP-5GNR Co-location Tool and then enable it on your PMP450 AP’s.

I understand that for LTE TDD, it has to be enabled when there are other TDD equipment co-located with it. What I want to know is whether LTE FDD affects the PMP 450s at all. What do you think?

Any carrier operating on or near 3GHz/CBRS with any high powered RF that’s not sync’d with PMP450 will likely have a negative impact.

So then, if the LTE FDD is not in the 3 GHz range, there should not be the need to enable that feature. Is this accurate?

I’d agree with your statement… but I’d also add that you cannot sync PMP450 with LTE FDD, so even if someone was operating LTE FDD on or around 3GHz/CBRS, enabling collocation features will not help you.

That clears things up enough, thank you for the guidance!
