Can SM running 5.7 connect to an AP running pre-AFC firmware? I have an AP on 5.6RC9FCC w/ 10 SM radios connected. All with GPS installed. What is best practice for updating to 5.7 with AFC enabled?

yes, it can. It make sense to upgrade AP first and make sure that it can connect to AFC server.
