Configuration lost after reboot

Hi there,

I'm using:

Hardware Version

ePMP Elevate AG-HP-5G-XW

Software Version

3.5.2

Firmware Version

U-Boot 1.1.4-s958 (Jun 10 2015 - 10:56:20)

 

I've noticed on three devices like this one that every time I reboot every configuration I've saved is lost!
Device name, network, vlan, radio... all is lost on each reboot!

Is there anybody share the same problem?

yeah me to same Problem With SXT LITE5 i hope can get answer ..... it's knda the power cycle i think and i can't disable the reset from power cycle in v 5.2

Would it be possible to have remote access to one of such devices, please? Please send me priv message so we could try to investigate remotelly. One unit I'd say it is hardware issue but 3 seems like something else.

How can I send you remote access informations?

Each changes (ex. Network informations) I do are lost after reboot.

I should change my LAN into 169.254.1.0/24 in order to give you access to 169.254.1.1 default address?

You have to reinstall original firmware and then upgrade it again to elevate. Ive had the same trouble

Are you using the Elevate Tool by chance?

Not much. I usually tftp original firmware (6.0.4), and then I upload elevate firmware through the web

I just bring back to the original firmware and then Elevate to 4.3.2 (ePMP Elevate AG-HP-5G-XW).

Configurations seems to remain but all password I'm changin to system users are not correctly saved.

Default password always remains even if I changed them and reboot.

I can give to Cambium's staff remote access to the device.

Why don't you try latest version?

Isn't 4.3.2 latest version at the moment?

Same problem here. Configuration is lost after reboot. Firmware 4.4.1.  I downgraded to 3.4.1 and was able to save it. Then uploaded 4.4.1 again

PowerBeam M5 (XW).  We are updating them via the device_elevator 34.44 tool.

Is this new or few years old unit? From your description it looks like it is new unit with not fully supported flash so data saving is malfunctioning.

There is a huge chance we fixed this issue for XM/XW Elevate devices in 4.4.2 release. It should be posted on our support site this week.
