Since I upgraded my on-premise cnMaestro server from 5.1.0r4 to 5.2.0r3 I am constantly getting Major alerts from a handful of my ePMP APs.
All are giving the same GPS_Sync_ST error, but as far as I can tell nothing is actually wrong with any of the APs. A reboot of the AP does not fix the issue.
Good Day.
I am observing the exact same issue but ours appears to be happening on the cloud hosted version on cnMaestro. On early Thursday morning cnM was automatically upgraded to Version 5.2.0-r14 and the majority (but not all) of our ePMP AP’s are throwing alerts/alarms for the same error GPS_SYNC_ST.
We have the Synchronization GPS hold off time set to max (10 days)
The AP’s appear to be online with SM’s connected and still passing traffic. Logging in to the AP’s directly I am not seeing any errors and the GPS Sync Up. I feel like it may be a false positive from cnM. Interestingly we are seeing it on ePMP 2000 but what’s odd is not ever 2000 series in our fleet is producing the same alerts.
I am experiencing the same issue with the Cloud version 5.2.0-r14. Mine are not limited to ePMP2000. I receive the alerts with ePMP1000, ePMP2000, and ePMP3000 APs.
We are running sw 5.91 and 5.90 and we have this happening on 2 epmp 2000 AP and one epmp 3000 AP the epmp would have a major and a critical alert, this is on cloud version as well
I’m seeing the same thing here in cloud. I have opened a TT with Cambium and they have been looking into it. It has been escalated to the cnMaestro team as we confirmed there was nothing wrong with the AP’s. Hoping it gets resolved soon as I don’t like seeing alarms in our system that is a few months old for us.
