Has anyone ever tried to extend coverage using a MemoryLink Coverage Extender, or just a single SM-AP combination with a timing cable with both the SM and AP in the same frequency band? Specifically 900 MHz SM and 900 MHz AP.
What were your results like?
I don’t think this will work properly as the SM and AP at the coverage extender site will be out of sync with each other. I suspect they will suffer from de-sensing, etc. Motorola suggests at least 40 MHz of separation, which is impossible here…
I will not be able to get any vertical separation.
I’m trying to resolve a tricky coverage issue.

It works like crap - don’t do it. on 900mhz anyway
