Could someone please explain to me how Option 82 works? I see you can enable it on the Access Point, but I don't see anywhere on the SM for Option 82.

When Option 82 is enabled on the AP, ePMP inserts “remote-id” (option ID 0×2) to be the SM’s MAC address and the “circuit-id” (ID 0×01) to be the AP’s MAC address. Those two fields are used to identify the remote device and connection from which the DHCP request was received.
For example, I have attached a Wireshark capture and if you analyze the bootp packets, you will find the below.

Will this still work if you run your customer traffic inside of a VLAN?
