Have a new install and the customer says they have no internet. When I log into the radio everything looks like it should. We configure the radios as routers doing PPPoE and the radio is getting connected via PPPoE and getting an address, the radio shows that on the LAN side it is handing an address to someting in the customer's house. Everything looks like I expect to.
I did look at the logs and see this:
Jun 12 16:27:32 tickfarm dnsmasq-dhcp[3821]: DHCPREQUEST(mgmt0) 192.168.7.98 08:05:81:ce:2e:29
Jun 12 16:27:32 tickfarm dnsmasq-dhcp[3821]: DHCPACK(mgmt0) 192.168.7.98 08:05:81:ce:2e:29
And then this over and over and over and over:
Jun 12 16:27:39 tickfarm dnsmasq-dhcp[3821]: DHCP packet received on ath0 which has no address
Jun 12 16:27:39 tickfarm dnsmasq-dhcp[3821]: no address range available for DHCP request via mgmt0
I don't see this on other radios so I'm wondering what is causing it . Is this possibly what you would see if a customer plugged the radio into one of the LAN ports ? I can't tell from the error if the router is trying to hand the radio an address via DHCP or the radio is trying to hand it one.
can't, not can.
