Do I NEED BAM

Do I need BAM if I am running a third party billing software such as IP3. This is a third party solution that is on the canopy pages. We are looking at deploying this software with our small WISP. My question is, do i also need to spend the money on BAM, and why?

BAM is very usefull if you want to add securiry to your network, without BAM is easy to everyone with a SM and a sniffer to access your AP (even your network) without much effort.

Yeah, we are looking at purchasing BAM. I understand that this has to run on a Linux server. Not being a Linux guy, this may be a challenge for me. We are also going to run IP3 as our billing software. Any additional info you guys have on IP3 or the linux server setup would be helpful.
