Capping downlink MCS to “DS MCS 7 - 64-QAM 5/6” does not work on my cambium force 300-25l, the radio still uses more than that. The only way to make it work is if I use firmware from 4.7 upwards.
How can I make it work on firmware 4.6.1 or 4.6.2?

4.6.1, 4.6.2 and 4.7.0 are quite old images. I suggest you to use our current stable release 5.10.4.
ISP epmp 3000 access point is running on 4.6.1
so what do you suggest?
