e3K Tech File Password Protected

Hi all, I downloaded a tech file from an e3k AP and its password protected when trying to open it.. I sent it to support to check something for me and they came back and said they couldnt open it as it is password protected. This is a first for me, please advise.

Hahah so is this for me or cambium? As per my topic I sent the tech file to cambium support and they said they couldn’t open it. I never care to open them as I just grab them for the cambium support team when I raise a ticket. But thank you for the link.

Hi @DigitalMan2020 !
Sounds like some Easter Egg)
Could you tell me the ticket number?

Hi Andrii, it is #437025

I just had the issue come up again and one of the sectors rebooted itself… can I send you the tech file directly?

or maybe @Fedor …passing the minimum characters

typically the password on ts files is cambium

As per my post I’m not the one struggling with this it’s Cambium Support. I submitted the file and they responded they couldn’t open it. I never had a support tech from Cambium say this, hence my post.

This was just a bit of confusion within the customer support team. You were working with an agent whose main focus is cnMaestro and cnMatrix (because the ticket seemed to be about the behaviour of a cnMatrix switch), and they were unaware of how ePMP tech support files work.

Totally understand and it’s no problem, the situation involves both matrix and ePMP and I will leave that to the support team to hash out. That was explained by the matrix tech and I’m just responding to the thread as answers come in. Thank you.
