Fixed Issues

Jira ID Summary
FLCN-18057 AP continuously restarted resulting in cnMaestro not displaying Wi-Fi events
FLCN-17886 After upgrading APs, clients reported the IP address assigned by the AP as Bad IP Address resulting in the depletion of addresses in the DHCP IP pool
FLCN-17529 Wireless client data reports updated the association time of wireless clients to the current AP time
FLCN-17281 A DHCP failure event was triggered with the error message—Client VLAN is not mapped on interface—even though the port is configured to allow all VLANs
FLCN-17083 mDNS query packets were forwarded to Ethernet port, which was used as uplink, when Bonjour services was enabled
FLCN-17080 APs received multiple spoof ARP events where both client MAC and spoofed MAC addresses were the same
FLCN-16999 Unable to obtain SSH, management, and UI access to APs when turned on through the Ethernet2 interface (as WAN connection) if the management access is configured as allowed wired only
FLCN-16943 Wireless clients failed to obtain an IP address from the uplink immediately after AP restart if VLANs are not yet installed on the cnMatrix switch
FLCN-16579 The AP working as a mesh client intermittently broke the mesh connection affecting the network access of clients. The issue occurred only when AP operated in the DFS channels
FLCN-16571 APs were sending ARP messages to other APs, leading to ARP flooding in networks
FLCN-16376 AP incorrectly reported client disconnection reason as channel change even though disconnection was because of MAC authentication reject
FLCN-16377 The nslookup command now works and displays information
FLCN-16141 RADIUS attributes were not updated in the output of “show wireless clients user-group” command and the details are not populated in cnMaestro
FLCN-16072 Switching from mesh client to the base fails when mesh auto-detect backhaul is enabled and the Ethernet link changes from down to the up state
FLCN-15917 Mesh configuration in 2.4 GHz radio now works in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
FLCN-15524 Invalid PMKID failure was occurring when multiple clients were involved in FT roaming across APs
FLCN-15116 Techsupport upload was failing when IPv6 addresses were resolved first and were not reachable
FLCN-14290 Client disconnect reports and events were not generated for the failure cases—session timeout and quota exhausted—when cnMaestro captive portal is configured
FLCN-13239 Auto-VLAN now supports 200 VLANs when Ethernet1 interface is configured as Trunk mode
FLCN-13122 Honeypot AP was not detected when SSID was hidden

Tried upgrade on our poc unit at office via cnmaestro cloud, the AP cannot connect to cnmaestro anymore but the AP is running and no problem connecting user to internet.
We tried access the AP via GUI and there are missing setting in the Configuration tab.

We have to downgrade back to previous firmware to get it online in cnmaestro.

*** we tried again with out of the box unit, still the same.

Hi,

Did you get this resolved now?

I’m worried about upgrading incase we have the same problem and have to cause more impact to downgrade again.

Different issue here: It’s connected to my cnMaestro (on premise), but I missed menu configuration too:

What we did:
factory reset, bring to cnMaestro. update.
AP is working, within cnMaestro (net and Wi-Fi are ok), but webgui menu is missing.
reboot with backup firmware image: menu is ok.

@MW_WISP
From 7.1, GUI supports monitoring, basic networking and troubleshoot.

WHAT?

C’mon guys, don’t you think it could be a good idea to write it to the Release Notes?

tried to get the tech dump on the AP before and after upgrade to 7.1-r7, but somehow there is no problem at all connecting to cnmaestro.

But this result after I tried upgrade manually through GUI, downgrade, then upgrade again via cnmaestro.

BUT My POC unit still cannot connect to cnmeastro after upgrade it with 7.1-r7 through cnmaestro (this is the 2nd time i did the upgrade) Cannot take tech dump since im not on site and can’t remote the AP GUI

Also i noticed this, fw from support site and in cnmaestro is different.
In support site the only model that have fw 7.1-r7 is XV2-21x/XV2-22H/XV2-23T even the X7 series have not yet avaialble with fw 7.1-r7

image

In cnmaestro cloud the 7.1-r7 applied to all XE/XV/X7 series

Currently 7.1-r7 is only applicable for XV2 platform, we updated the UI to highlight it

upgraded all 10 XV2 to 7.1-r7 succesfully, nice bugs fixes was about time

Need a clarification, is the 7.1-r7 firmware will disconnect any RMA unit from cnMaestro and cannot manage by cnMaestro anymore??

Not loving the changes in the Local GUI
