ePMP 1000 Integrated Radio - Near LOS - 2.4GHz or 5GHz best?

I’m planning to setup link using ePMP 1000 Integrated Radio.

Specifications:
Distance 1Km
Elevation 5m
Near LOS Condition (1 tree and house in the path)
Bandwidth requirement minimum 20mbps Down & 10mbps Up

Just wondering 2.4GHz or 5GHz best suits my requirement?
As this is a residential area there will be some 2.4GHz wifi interference from the houses around.

As you mentioned, 2.4 GHz in general is much noisier than 5 GHz. Also the 2.4 GHz band is very small relative to the 5 GHz band and you will have a better chance of finding a clean channel in 5 GHz. ePMP supports the entire 5 GHz band (5.1 - 5.9 but with restrictions based on regulation in each country). 2.4 GHz will theoretically perform better than 5 GHz in nLOS conditions but noise is a bigger factor and that should be your primary concern. Hence the recommendation to try 5 GHz first.
