ePMP 3.5.1/3.5.2 Management VLAN Access

"Management VLAN Access" set to "Ethernet and Wireless" on an SM. Say MVID = 20. Devices behind the SM's ethernet interface tagging VID 20 cannot communicate past the SM (i.e. upstream, out via the wireless interface). Confirmed on both 3.5.1 and 3.5.2.

I would very much prefer this works the same as Management VID Pass-Through on Canopy. The reason is, we have quite a few customers with a set of managed/monitored ePMP radios in TDD PTP or ePTP mode behind their primary SM. MVID Pass-Through on Canopy allows this.

We run the same customer management VLAN ID everywhere and it would be very inconvenient to roll out another VLAN and set of subnets just to manage these devices behind ePMP SMs.

Hi George,

You can configure Membership VLAN with appropriate VLAN ID to be able to manage devices below SM.

Thank you.

Didn't even think of that. Looks like it works. Thanks.

I would still prefer this to work as simple as Canopy's MVID pass-through which is enabled by default though.
