Hi all, just wondering if any issues going from 4.8.1 to 5.11 on an e3k AP with a mix of 300-25 and 300-19 SMs?
Silly question probably, but you’re using custom (non-default) WPA2, right? That can be a ‘gotcha’ when going past 5.10
No silly questions in my opinion, yes using a non-default WPA2
Hello there, can you please expand on this? We are non-default WPA2. Cheers!
Hi @ChrisP ,
I believe @ninedd meant that this could be an issue if you are using the default WPA2 settings, due to changes introduced in the 5.10.2 firmware.
We’re long on 5.x because of promised GPS fixes. They indeed fix it a little, it’s no longer that bad. But there still are some stability issues with traffic halts, sm disconnections and AP crashes. No performance improvement for e3k, but also no degradation observed going to 5.x. Generally I think you should upgrade to 5.11, since 4.x will see no further development.
Really appreciate your response, cheers!
