We are experiencing a serious stability issue with an ePMP 4600L AP after upgrading the AP and all connected SMs to firmware 5.12.0.
Our topology is as follows:
AP model: ePMP 4600L
Firmware: 5.12.0
Connected SMs: 6
Approximately 570 PPPoE subscribers behind these SMs
PPPoE is transparently bridged over Layer 2 / VLAN 384 to a MikroTik gateway
Channel width: 160 MHz
Frequency: 6700 MHz
The issue is still continuing. Hardware Acceleration remains enabled, and Hairpin Acceleration has been disabled. However, the AP rebooted again after approximately two hours. Therefore, disabling Hairpin Acceleration did not resolve the problem.
We have the AP Technical Support File, system logs, configuration backup and crash timestamps available for investigation. Please let me know whether I should send these files by private message or through a support ticket.
