I like the fact that it is easy to quickly hit the GUI using the defaulted 169.254.1.1 address per canopy/cambium norm. There have been times where it is not welcomed as well. Is there a way to turn off the management IP 169.254.1.1 address after we manually change the IP of the units in the same way you can with every other canopy/cambium product?
Hi Nathan,
Ability to disable or change the default IP 169.254.1.1

+1 on Fedor's response. (and note that there is NOT a webUI option for this, only SNMP or shell)
On our network I change the default IP to 169.254.1.2 for all APs and 169.254.1.3 for all BH radios, and leave SMs at 169.254.1.1. That way our techs in the field can always log into a radio at that IP, not needing to fuss with different subnets off different towers. Together with SM isolation, having the APs and BHs at .2 and .3 basically means that there is only one device that should answer to 169.254.1.1 at each client location.

Thank you both for your responses. I'll give that a try. Excellent suggestions.
