This week we noticed that on cnmaestro cloud version, every epmp device with version 4.6,x seems to be offline. On network that we have remote access we managed to reconnect devices to maestro by updating them to latest 5.9 firmware. Do you know if will be a fix or we have to manual update every device to 5.9 in order to get them online to maestro again ?
Various older releases had issues over time with disconnecting from cnMaestro. Assuming you have SNMP enabled on the radios, you could write a script to reboot all the stuck ePMP radios across your network, and then once they’ve reconnected back to cnMaestro, I’d highly recommend you update to 5.9.2. We’re running this version on all of our e1k/e3k/e4k radios and it’s working great. There will be no retroactive fixes for this issue, you’ll need to update to the newest release.
@jdres Please open a support ticket so we can schedule a call to investigate the root cause of this issue and provide better assistance.
During the remote session, we observed that the radios showing offline on the cnMaestro cloud with software version 4.6.1 were successfully onboarded after correcting the time.
Please configure the NTP server on each AP and SM to ensure the radios always maintain the correct time, even after a reboot.
