In our situation, from 97 AP with version 3.5.6, after updating to 4.4, only 4 units were reset to factory values (keeping only the password). Fortunately I was able to enter through CLI and assign an IP and be able to reconfigure them without having to go to the site.

Woke up this morning to find both of those same 2 AP's dead. These are the only 2 to get 4.4 at this point. Neither is even drawing power from the Netonix. Could be a very strange coincidence I suppose. We'll see what we find when someone gets over there.
Disregard my last post. I've been in this business too long to forget that weird coincidences happen all the time. Someone decided to climb the tower, unbolt the 2 access points, and toss them off the tower. :( I vote for letting the robots take over. Humans suck!
