EPMP SM showing down because it moved to a different AP sector

I've noticed that cnMaestro will show an SM radio as Down if it associates to a different AP sector on the tower.  cnMaestrowill continue to show it down until you log into the GUI of the radio.  Then cnMaestro realises that the SM is indeed up.  No other interaction is needed other than Logging into the GUI of the SM.  But it will show as a Major Alarm and the unit as offline, even though the SM is indeed up and passing traffic.
