Features
-
Scalability Enhancements (ePMP 4xxx Series)
Significant performance improvements have been implemented, increasing throughput for deployments with a large number of connected SMs on the ePMP 4600/4500 series. -
Split Sector 4x4 Mode (ePMP 4500C)
Split Sector 4x4 mode now supports two 4x4 antennas, with beamforming independently applied to each antenna and provides a +3 dB beamforming gain on the downlink.
For Split Sector mode, connect the antennas as follows:
First antenna: Chains 0/1/4/5
Second antenna: Chains 2/3/6/7 -
MTU 9600 Support in TDD Mode (ePMP 45xx/46xx Series)
The latest firmware now supports an increased Ethernet MTU values of up to 9600 bytes in TDD mode. -
Automatic Channel Selection (ACS) (ePMP 45xx/46xx Series)
To access the ACS feature, navigate to Tools > Automatic Channel Selection page. When enabled, ACS scans the entire frequency band based on the Country setting and automatically selects the channel with the lowest interference, optimizing performance in the current RF environment. -
The ability to add a secondary Proxy Server for AFC has been implemented.
Problems corrected
Tracking ID | Products | Description |
---|---|---|
AXG- 10391 | All | Resolved the issue where settings for AFC Proxy servers configured via the GUI were not applied until a reboot. |
AXG- 10218 | All | Improved TCP performance for deployments with multiple Subscriber Modules (SMs). |
AXG- 10189 | All | Fixed the issue preventing SMs from reconnecting to an AP after disconnection due to AP KEEP ALIVE RX STUCK. |
AXG- 10178 | All | Addressed stability issues causing occasional reboots in ePMP 45xx/46xx APs. |
AXG-9980 | All | Fixed the issue where Total Frame Time Used consistently displayed 0% in TDD mode. |
AXG-9977 | All | Fixed the issue preventing AFC SMs from selecting the optimal mode between Standard and Fixed Client modes. |
AXG-9918 | All | Fixed the issue where SMs displayed incorrect AFC system status for non-AFC frequencies. |
AXG-9890 | All | Fixed the issue causing SMs to disconnect with Reason: 41 (STA DISASSOC REASON PPPOE LCP LOST). |
AXG-9877 | All | Resolved the problem that prevented setting a device name with up to 64 characters. |
