ePMP1000 vs ePMP3000L

Hi all,

we are considering replacing ePMP1000 with ePMP3000L to give a little boost on smaller areas. We know that 3000L has the subscriber limit to 64 at the momenth and thats ok, but in performance/hardware view is the 3000L better than a 1000 even if we connect only Force200/180 CPEs?

Hi @vmiskos,

take a look at this:

Hi vmiskos,

You should see a benefit in 40MHz channels and less benefit in 20MHz channels. Also it will allow you to connect F300 SMs using higher modulations.

thanks @Tommaso

@Dmitry Moiseev thank you for the answer. Less benefit on 20MHz you mean 3000L will still be slightly better than 1000 right?

I think what Dmitry is saying is that at channel widths greater then 20MHz, the 3000L will perform better, I assume this is due to better PPS processing capabilities. You'll also have 256QAM modulation levels with the 3000L as well (when used with AC clients of course).
