ePMP2000 smart antenna connection

The smart antenna installation guide shows to connect V-V and H-H connectors "do not crosse the cables".

If the cables are connected in paralel (without crossing) the conections labels are V-H and V-H.

Are the smart antenna connectors erroneusly labeled?

Hi Pablo,

Please find photos attached.

I guess they will provide answer to your question.

Thank you.

Hi Fedor,

Thanks for the answer.

The ePMP User Guide v3.0 marks the conectors in reverse polarization: 1=H, 2=V

See the picture from this manual:

What is the file named that we should be looking for?  I am not seeing the corrected documentation on the Smart Panel.

Are there issue if they were to get crossed?

Hi,

You should find User Guide where you can find picture with correct H and V labels for RF ports.
You just should connect H port on AP with H port on Smart Antenna and V to V.

Will them be crossed or not just depends on where Smart Antenna will be placed.

Thank you.

Hi - I've looked over those files, and I also don't see which is the correct ePMP 2000 Smart Antenna installation guide ?
So, I'm also confused on which conflicting docurmentation is correct?

Hi ninedd,

User Guide page 38.

Initially it was typo in Smart Antenna ports labels on ePMP2000 board.

Then it was corrected.

Let me know in case you still see conflicting data.

Thank you.
