ETA on 4518 & 4616 SMs

Hi. I’m wondering what the ETA are on the Force 4518 SM? I wasn’t sure from WISPAPALOZA if that has already been developed, or if it was just starting development. It’s exciting, Thank you.

My magic 8-ball says “Q1 for 5 and Q2 for 6”

ALSO, I think it’s going to be a mid-gain panel, so similar size/shape/gain to the F300-16.

“Outlook good” - Thanks Eric.

The WISPAPALOZA slides showed a 4616 (F300-16 form) and a 4518 (panel akin but not identical to 300-19). We’re using 4500, so hopefully we get a 4518 instead of a 4516 (every 2db helps) but either way will be welcomed for those closer clients.

I hadn’t actually looked at the slides and was unaware of the two different form factors. Looks like there’s just going to be 18dBi for 5GHz, and 16dBi for 6GHz from what the slides show.

Yes, that’s what it looks like to me also. That’s great - that’s exactly what we’re looking for, so I’m eager for that to be shipping! IF we do see those in Q1, that’d be great

It’s interesting that the 4616 will have integrated GPS… I guess lessons learned…

That’s great @Fedor, thank you for sharing. That looks great!

Do they have the same radio card & specs as the 4525 otherwise? It’s not a lower power version of the radio card, or anything speed limited, right?

That looks perfect for a lower cost & shorter range residential radio!

Yes, 4518 and 4525 have all the same capabilities except the antenna gain.

Thank you.

I’m sad (but not surprised) that it’s not 48V PoE…
