External Tool for Alignment

Hi All,

Is there any available external tool to be used by technicians on towers for aligning PIP45i SMs other than the speakers ?

Hi!

What about this?:

I tried it and it's very simply and useful.

Hi,

Thanks dcarmona.  Does it work with PMP450 family ??

Also, I need the P/N for the alignment tool cable for PMP450i to connect the headset.

Hi,

I tried only with 430SM. But I can see in the APP Store that

- Cambium Monitor works with 450 (I use sometimes this one)

- eAlign for ePMP works with ePMP (I have no equipment ePMP)

- PMP Assistant works with 450SM (I use this one every day)

Mohamed, we don't sell this cable but the pinout to create it is quite simple... this is in the User Guide:

Hi All,

Thank you dcarmona & Matt.

I cannot find either Cambium Monitor or PMP Assistant on the Play Store.  Are they available for android ??

Thanks for helping.

Hi Mohamed

I tried two months before with Android but I found anything. But with IOS I found those very interesting APP.

Sorry not advice before there was only for IOS.

For PMP, we're working on a new app for alignment app that will be released for both iOS and Android.  This is coming within the next few months...

our techs usually VPN over LTE on their phones back to our NOC and then log into the SM to do alignment.

if they don't have cell service then they use a headset or they plug a laptop directly into the SM.

you can also use this device to create a wifi connection to the SM and then connect your phone or computer to the WiFi network and log into the SM. http://www.linktechs.net/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=2251&idcategory=269

hope that helps!
