Factory reset ePMP Elevate

Hello. The reset button doesn't seem to work on Ubnt hardware that has been elevated.

Is there a good way to factory reset these units? Sometimes we disabled the ethernet port when a customer canceled so now we have no ethernet access to login and reset the feedhorns.

Any ideas how to recover these when they're elevated and the hardware reset button doesn't work?

Thank you

If you happen to know the SSID of the tower they used to associate with, you could setup an AP in the shop an power up the SM and get at it through the wireless…

Anyone from Cambium have ideas on how to factory reset besides going back in through the Wireless or Ethernet? We really need a way to reset them with the physical button or another method for when we disabled the ethernet and wireless isn't an option.

Thanks

Hi,

You can get them back to the original firmware with tftp recovery, reset configuration and elevate them back.

The reset button was intentionally disabled due to issues that was causing spontaneous configuration resets.

Is there a guide anywhere that explains how to do this? I didn't find one with a quick google search.

So I'm following that guide and actually putting Ubiquiti firmware back on there instead of ePMP? These are elevated units already.
