Please add an option that will allow communications on both the fiber and Ethernet port.
By having this option our switch can
Easily switch between the 2 ports. We need this in case the fiber is broken.
Today all of our 450 m’s are fiber feed. If the fiber breaks the customers are down until we can dispatch a truck. Once on site we have to reboot the unit to Ethernet. Then install the fiber and switch it back.
If we had both ports active our switch can do the cut over and all we have to do is repair the fiber
