Force 180 - support feature [Default Port VID] ?

Dear All,

Can ePMP force 180 support feature call Default Port VID as PMP450 or PTP450 ? I want remote slave of force 180 to tag VLAN for our traffic instead of switch/router.

reference from PMP450/PTP450

Default Port VID : This is the VID that is used for untagged frames and corresponds to the Q-Tag for 802.1Q frames (if VLAN Port Type is Q), or the C-Tag for 802.1ad frames (if the VLAN Port Type is Q-in- Q).

Thank you,

Mightykongg

Hi,

Yes, you can configure Data VLAN ID (which is called Default Port VID in PMP 450)in ePMP force 180 and this option is available under Configuration >> Network >>Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN)>>Data VLAN>>enable and configure Data VLAN ID.

SM will tag the untagged traffic coming from the SM LAN end with this data vlan Id and send it to the wireless interface.

For more information about VLAN options in ePMP ,you can refer the link as mentioned below:

Kimmi,

Thank you for your reply. I have one more question. In case I configure Force 180 in the PTP or ePTP mode not PMP, Is this feature still available for us to configuration ?

Yes ,This feature is also available in the PTP or ePTP mode of the Force 180.
