Force 300 CSML software update issue

Hello.

We are attempting to upgrade Force 300 CSML Subscriber Modules that are currently running version 4.2.6. We have tried installing the newer versions step by step—starting with 4.7.x, then 4.8.x, and so on—until reaching the latest version, 5.10.4, since we need to associate them with 4500C APs.

During the upgrade process, an error message appears indicating that the file is corrupted or that it is not the correct file. After powering off the radio, the unit becomes locked / inhibited, the LED indicators show strange or unusual behavior, and it is no longer possible to access the radio either via the default IP address or through the backdoor IP.

We attempted to restore the radios to factory defaults by performing the power-cycle procedure described in the manual, but they do not respond. We have verified that the firmware files are not the issue, as we are using the same files to upgrade other Force 300 CSM (non-L) units and those upgrades have completed successfully.

Hi @mmazariegos1267

Other than accessing the radio via its default or fallback IP address, does it respond to ping?
