Force 425 firmware 5.3 causing VPLS tunnel flapping

Hi @Jacob_Turner,

not yet. A beta should be published in one or two weeks. There will be release notes.

Our PTPs 425 always had theses drops, and with this new v5.10rc, the issue continue…

For what is’t worth, our F400c are rock solid

Hello,

With this new version (5.10), should we set CambiumAccelerationEngine back to 0 or 1?

Read this article and then you can decide what to set it to based on how your network is configured:

Simply put, in order to use NSS, on a network with MPLS/VPLS, do we need to have Control Word enabled?

We’ve moved our AX gear to 5.10.1 (RC14) and we’ll see if that helps.

We’re not deploying any new Cambium gear anymore anyway, but it’ll be nice to get those dropouts resolved. They were stable for us in 5.9.x but with 5.10.0 those dropouts started. Cambium said that’s resolved in 5.10.1 so we will hope so.

Correct. If you don’t have control word enabled you must turn off NSS.

I’m a bit more confused, running 5.10.0 should I expect MPLS w/ control word to work out of the box or not? I’ve had to issue the CLI commands since I started deploying these, and it seems regardless of firmware that I’ve tried. My VPLS tunnels just refuse to come up, but MPLS traffic does pass because I stay connected to the router.
