Force 4625 never connects

Hello,

Cambium team and fellow operators. We have a E4600 AP (with working GPS) which works in FCC domain.

We also have Force 4625 shown here, we cannot get the two to connect together, even if defining precisely one 20Mhz channel.
The Cambium Force 4625 Hardware Version is listed as "6 GHz Force 4625 (ROW).
How do we make this work in the US (FCC) mode? We correctly see an available E4600 AP on the correct AFC frequency when we go to Monitor → Wireless, but the registration state shows up as “Unknown” and Monitor → Wireless shows “Operating Frequency = Hold Off” . Firmware is 5.6.1.
We were advised to get a GPS puck but as you can see, the Force 4625 we have has no usb port for a GPS puck. How can this be resolved?

Hello @mchirinos ,

ROW version of F4625 is dedicated to markets outside North America.
To work in FCC region you have to purchase FCC locked F4625.

Is it only one such radio or you have a batch of ROW F4625?
How did you get it in North America?

Hello,
These F4625 are part of a four pack purchased in the US from a reputable hardware supplier. Can you please supply a known good compatible product sku for the FCC domain, which actually works with E4600L AP?

What region are you trying to use them in? Are you trying to use them in USA/FCC region?

yes, we are wanting to use these in the FCC/US domain…

You should reach out to Cambium tech support. They may need to work with you to change the region.
