Here is the event log of a canopy SM - notice anything ? Its really tough to program a Module and set it up when every time you reboot settings are lost and Firmwares alternate back and forth !!

Did you upgrade from 8.2.2 -> 9.0? The proper upgrade path is from 8.2.2 -> 8.2.4 or 8.2.7 -> 9.0
Yeah upgraded to 8.2.2 -> 8.2.4 -> to 9.0 however every time I would process the upgrade to 9.0 it would fail the upgrade. However when rebooted it would boot in 9.0 (most of the time) until I make and changes to the SM .
Are you upgrading locally or remotely? Have you tried 9.3?
SM is sitting next to me and no have not tried 9.3 yet…
*** Solution ***
upgraded to 8.2.7 -> then 9.3 - as 9.0 kept failing on the upgrade over and over
now SM is programmed and after several attempts to reproduce issue it is GONE!!!
