We’re slipping half-way through the month of October and no other news from Cambium Administration.
I have heard nothing : - (
I got this email today.
You are receiving this email because you are an administrator of an XMS-Cloud account with devices under management.
XMS-Cloud will be shut down on October 26, 2026.
After the shutdown, your devices will continue to operate with their last known configuration. However, features that depend on the cloud, such as EasyPass, will stop working, and any functionality that relies on those features may also be affected.
To keep managing your devices after that date, please migrate them to cnMaestro by following the XMS-Cloud to cnMaestro Migration User Guide:

This is the only email notice you will receive about this shutdown.

Woh! I have yet to receive any email from them? What time did you get it today? XMS-Cloud is different than cnMaestro Cloud though, correct?
We haven’t seen any communications directly either, but we aren’t using XMS, just cnMaestro Cloud.
It sounds like they want to kill off XMS sooner, probably to save costs… XMS was the old Xirrus platform that Cambium inherited when they bought Xirrus for the enterprise wifi gear. It’s been fairly obvious that they were slowly pushing everyone over to cnMaestro instead (many release notes indicated that features or new hardware was not supported in XMS).
I’m down to about 260 APs that are in a non-licensed cloud cnM instance, and then around 140 that are in an X-licensed instance and are using MarketApps (so I can’t migrate them out of Cloud because MarketApps requires Cloud). I’m waiting to see if there are any announcements coming about Cloud, and if not we will need to migrate that last chunk to onprem and attempt to come up with some other solution to handle user password management / etc…
I have 3 years left on licenses, but when i remove the AP from my cnMaestro cloud X account and move it over to on-prem, there is only a 90 day license. If the Enterprise portfolio is sold, will the licenses from cloud X then be transferred over to on prem cnMaestro?
No details yet, but this could mean that cnMaestro cloud, licenses, and support may continue. We’ll see what happens.
Sounds like ePMP and enterprise are in the deal.
Anyone hear anything about cnMatrix, NSE, rv22?
cnMatrix is clearly stated as a part of the deal in the document.
NSE is in the Enterprise category so although not explicitly stated is probably part of the deal too
rv22 is 99% not included and will probably be discontinued.
So no more CnMaestro X OnPremise for free? I have to migrate back all my APs before the trial license end?
On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, Univastu India Limited completed the acquisition of Cambium Networks. The acquisition includes the ePMP™ and Enterprise businesses, and of particular importance, cnMaestro™ Network Management. Cambium Networks will operate as a standalone subsidiary of Univastu.
“Univastu is so pleased to have the opportunity to acquire Cambium Networks. What Univastu acquired is a tremendously talented team, a proud tradition of product innovation, and a stellar partner and customer community,” said Pradeep Khandagale, Chairman & Managing Director. “We look forward to guiding the rebirth of Cambium Networks and enabling it once again to be a leading wireless networking solution provider.”
Cambium Networks is excited to announce that it will immediately move to resume production and is more pleased to announce that cnMaestro Cloud will continue to operate on a go-forward basis.
Cambium Networks looks forward to engaging partners and customers and supporting their networking requirements.

That’s the current question. I have 600 aps on premise now, on a trial license. See what happens over the following days/week I guess.
Does EasyPass and all the various associated features and capabilities come under the “cnMaestro™ Network Management” umbrella?
We utilise multiple EasyPass features including Azure Auth, UPSK and the Guest Portal and confirming this is included would be greatly appreciated.
Fool me once… I have lost confidence in Cambium, unless under the new owners and leadership - they can prove themselves through actions and provide reassurances.
We already migrated devices on-prem and might stay. Unsure if we can trust future decision.
Same here, I have 84 APs on the trial as well. What stinks, my license EXPIRED (on the cloud) today. I’m now at the mercy of Cambium / Univastu (not feeling warm and fuzzy)
We should probably be wary of all proprietary cloud services, and have a backup plan. How many consumer smart home products have been bricked or crippled because their cloud went away? Even without a bankruptcy.
Starting to explore OpenWi-Fi / OpenLAN as a long term alternative bet for this reason
Spent the last month trying to beat caps-man into something I can actually use.
