High CPU usage on some R195 routers

I have a bunch of r 201 and r 195 routers out there that my clients are using. I monitor them with cnMaestro. I have a few that show 100% CPU usage. This comes and goes. Sometimes it just stays at the top 100% flat. I have set these up myself and they are mostly programmed the same. Some have port forward in use. Firmware is 4.8.1 r4 on these units. I can’t help but think I have some configuration setting that is causing this. Out of about 16 units I have three showing 100% most of the time. Can anybody offer me some insight on what is happening?

Thanks

Could you please provide the tech support logs for any of the affected routers?
It would also be helpful to know if you’ve already raised a ticket with Cambium support so we can track the progress.

Thank you for the response. I did raise a ticket with Cambium Support and it has been solved. The process named 3nrrlqiqtcrrvf3nvd1r is the clear cause of the 100% CPU utilization. It is Malware that somehow got installed because of an incomplete provisioning. Cambium Support is the best.

How did the Malwave get installed in the R195 Routers?

I have no idea. I wish I knew. That is what Cambium Support found when they helped me see why the CPU usage was running at 100%. I must have had it exposed on the internet for a while before I put in proper passwords. Several years ago I had one get it’s DNS setting changed and that was a mess.
