How do I create an API Client ID?

Hi,

I need to use API but I don’t know how to create API Client_ID. According to this How to use cnMaestro APIs it should be in Network Services → API Client . I have an NMS account and in my Cloud cnMaestro these options do not appear.

What do I need to use the API?

Hi @Soporte_WIFIGO,

Hope you are doing well. I think your cnMaestro is in Essentials. As API client is X feature, you need to upgrade cnMaestro to X.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I have cnMaestro Essential and I didn’t know that about API.
Now I have another question. Is it possible to use an external hotspot without API access? I didn’t find the documentation about it.

Hope you are asking about Guest Access External Hotspot. Below is screenshot for your reference
Navigate to Wi-Fi Profiles > WLANs > Configuration > Guest Access and enable External Hotspot.
