How many running NSE's

For those active on the forums, how many of you have deployed NSE’s replacing a different vendor and moving to Cambium solution? We were replacing MikroTik to Cambium NSE for select customers during hardware refresh cycles.

Like to know thoughts on other partners or end-users as they enter the forum seeking information. What are your input on NSE and concerns with next steps?

I am scared, we cannot afford [myself] the cost of replacement of customer firewalls at their locations.. We just installed another new one 2-weeks ago… thousands of dollars it’ll cost us and put us in debt to make this right for the customer if cnMaestro goes dark.

replaced sonicwall, ubiquiti

I’m scrambling to come up with game plan. The devices should still “stay alive” running local config. But we will be in dark for remote management or config changes.

I might establish S2S VPN tunnels to each NSE customer while we can, as a means of ‘in-band’ access to console/ssh.

I am dumbfounded by this.

The NSE devices also JUST received a new release 2.4-r1 at end of August…

I’m an MSP as well and happy to help with a replacement option possibly cheap depending on the needs.

Just message me.

Thanks, we are also an MSP / IT provider. We might go back to MikroTik, have some sitting on shelf we can re-use. But have a few larger customers where we installed NSE 4000 due to port density.

Hello, If you need assistance migrating NSE or cnMaestro, please feel free to contact us.

You’re privy to migrating NSE, there is no other remote management?

painful we have over 50 NSE’s deployed

ugh, yikes - - feel for you. No one ever fathomed needing a contingency plan for this…

If anyone can think of an alt way to manage the NSE’s, let us know. Unsure if theres any API integration or other means?
