R-series firmware starting 4.5 release had introduced additional security to by default only allow https based device access. However this would prompt for a security warning in the browser. The following configuration can be used to bypass the browser security warning at the time of login:
The work around is to change the below configuration to “http”, save and reboot, then you will not see that warning. With this configuration you will ONLY be able to access the device GUI using http://A.B.C.D. Device access via https://A.B.C.D will remain disabled. It is strongly recommended to use non-default admin password on your devices, to keep the devices safe from attacks.
