How to change an AP's management VLAN using cnMaestro

Summary: This article provides instructions on how to assign AP’s management VLAN other than Native VLAN1

Setup: cnMaestro-cloud version: Version 5.2.0-r7, XV, XE series AP
In this example, the default management VLAN is VLAN1, and we want to change it to VLAN10 as management VLAN

Prerequisite: The network switch allows VLAN 10 and a DHCP server is available on VLAN 10.

Step1: Add VLAN 10 to the ‘Allowed VLAN IDs’

Step2: In cnMaestro AP group > Configuration > Network > VLAN interface > click ‘edit’ icon of current management VLAN, in this example, it’s VLAN 1, Unselect ‘Request Option All’ then click ‘update’

Step3: Select VLAN 10 edit icon, Select ‘Request Option All’

Step4: Select proper management access then click ‘update’

Step5: Save AP Group
