In July 2023, Cambium announced that for cnMaestro X, Tier 2 devices would be reclassified as Tiers 21, 22, 23 and 24:
- Tier 21: ePMP Access Points and cnVision
- Tier 22: PMP 450i and 450v Access Points
- Tier 23: PMP 450m and 450mv Access Points
- Tier 24: PTP, cnReach and cnRanger
As of March 1st 2024, this transition has been completed. If you previously had a Tier 2 subscription in your account, you will notice the following changes:
- If the Tier 2 subscription was populated with devices, it will have been automatically split into new subscriptions of the appropriate Tier.
- Unused Tier 2 slots have remained as Tier 2, and you will need to convert them manually to the appropriate Tier before you can add devices.
In the latter case, you will see a warning on your cnMaestro dashboard saying:
Tier 2 subscriptions are no longer valid. Attention is needed for unused slots within Tier 2 subscriptions.
To convert Tier 2 subscriptions, please follow these steps:

Click the link in the warning message to go to the Manage Subscriptions page:

Click the Tier 2 link in the Usage Summary to filter the subscription list to Tier 2 subscriptions.

At the right-hand side of any active Tier 2 subscription you should see an “info” icon:

Click the “info” icon. You will be presented with a dialog in which you can choose how to distribute the Tier 2 slots:

Select the quantities you need of each new tier and press Save. The new subscriptions will be added to your account.
