How to determine between P8 and P9?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but first some background.

I just pulled a radio out of a box from an order of 25 SM’s (900mhz) most of the radios were 7.0.7 but this one was 4.2.2.

I had a lot of trouble with the radio and starting thinking about the hardware version, ie; P8 or P9 and thought I would go look and see what it was. For the life of me I cannot seem to find in any of the GUI pages on the SM where it outright says “P8” or “P9”.

Is there a simple way to determine what version the hardware is?

The easiest way is when they are registered look in the sessions and it will tell you if it is p8 or p9

You shouldn’t need to do but one radio in a box

You can also telnet into the units but alias I don’t remember the login and password

Telnet the SM and type ‘version’.
