How to generate HTTPS certificates with openssl

Hi,
Is it possible to generate security certificates for PTP500/650/670 radios (with AES) using openssl. Been trying to generate DER (private and public keys) but unable to make them work.
Many thanks,
Gerry

Some tips from IBM  Upload it after it will be ready  https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSMNED_5.0.0/com.ibm.apic.cmc.doc/task_apionprem_gernerate_self_signed_openSSL.html

Hi Gerry,

We had a very similar request just yesterday. Please see:

The short answer is “yes, it is possible to generate security certificates for PTP500/650/670 radios”. I guess you were hoping for some detailed procedure. I think it’s best if I try and answer both requests together. Please look to the earlier topic for more information.

Thanks, Mark

Thanks for the suggestion. We don’t recommend using self-signed certificates in the PTP radio. Please see the earlier topic for a longer explanation. We will try to provide a tested recipe for generating keys and certificates.

Thanks, Mark
