hws on non-adv ap

hi all,

we have 2 tower with 6 non adv ap’s(020205-DES) on each tower and all loaded with sws and 736 ver.

Today i’ve try to change 3 AP from sws to hws and some of the SM that used connect to the AP is not registered. But if I try to switch the AP to sws again, than all the SM can registered to the spesific AP again.

Any help please? thx

You will need to change the SMs to hardware before you change the AP. Otherwise they will not be able to reconnect. Or you can use CNUT to change them all at once. It is under tools/configure advantage platform scheduler.
