Incorrect TX Frequency assigned to APs after PMP import into Web version

Hi I have imported my file into the web version, but the channels are now all wrong. how do i fix? i am unable to open the deskstop version.

Hi,

The current version of LINKPlanner doesn’t support channel planning (except for 60 GHz cnWave), so you cannot assign channels to the APs.

The default centre frequency is used instead. This doesn’t significantly alter the predictions, but you may have to manually apply band-edge restrictions to the power depending on the regulations and chosen configuration.

Hi Andrew_Haywood,

Having over 100 APs in terrible terrain, its critical that I maintain the channel assignments, and for quick reference. I do not necessarily want it to be a part of the calculations, I just want it noted for each AP.

At the moment, the only way to capture this information is to add it the description field of the APs.
