We are working on a project to deploy a municipal fixed broadband and wifi network. Wifi customers will be able to connect to the network on a pay-as-you-go scheme using mobile money, paypal, or credit cards. We plan to install CN Wave v5000 on electric poles and on our fixed wireless premises and leverage those to power our wifi network. However, given that the v5000 has the same range as wifi, and to reduce the encumbrance of the equipment on the electric poles, we as suggesting integrating a wifi module within the v5000. The v5000 will backhaul the wifi and mesh to other access points. Currently, we have to install a v5000 and a wifi access point such as the e700 on the same electric pole and power both devices.
