When there is no Internet connection, SSID continues to broadcast, which confuses users. It would be a good idea to have internet connection monitoring. So when the internet goes off SSID stops with broadcasting.

The ‘monitor host’ option in cnPilot E series can be used to solve this issue:

it is not automatic monitoring of internet as-such but you can specify your gateway/router or some public IP for the AP to periodically poll to determine internet connectivity
