IPv6 DHCP-PD on ePMP

Dear, I would like to ask if there are developments to implement IPv6 with DHCP-PD support in ePMP client equipment. And if so, when could a firmware come out with it?

Hello @koribostico,
solid IPv6 support along with prefix delegation will be in 5.6.0 release. Unfortunately I can not provide any good estimate as for now. Work is in progress.

Hi is there aby udate I only see IPV6 PD on epmp 3000 but no in epmp 1000 with 4.8

Hello @Jorge_Arriaga,

it is in our road map!
But the product is old and has less priority then AX platform, which is rocking now.
Unfortunately, I can not give and good estimate this day. I will update this topic regarding IPv6 for N-series radios as soon as I get some RC to test.
Thank you!

Hi Andrii, I’m testing IPv6 prefix delegation assignment on 3000 series clients in version 4.8.1. I see that the client correctly takes the prefix up to a length of /60. What I see is not happening is a double delegation nor are there ways to route any block further down. My topology is as follows

PPPoE Server Router → AP Cambium (Bridge) → ST Cambium (Router - PPPoE Client) → Client Router (DHCP Client V4 and V6) → client terminals

I was also testing 130 and 190 devices with the same version, but they would not be supporting address assignment via PPPoE.

On the other hand, I see that there is already a beta 5.9.0 that is being tested for all devices. Would this version have full IPv6 support on all devices?

Hi, @koribostico,

IPv6 implementation is still the same across platforms. Scope of 5.9.0 is scalability improvements for AX and bug-fixing.

Could you elaborate more with configuration screenshot and what exactly does not reach what on:
