Seeing intermittent lost sync on a 450i (firmware 16.2.3) connected to Canopy UGPS/cnPulse software version AXN 5.1.1. I remember that issue a few years ago with all the sites losing sync - there was a firmware bug in that code revision. Is it possible to upgrade cnPulse firmware, and if so how do we go about doing that?

Not sure if it helps in your case, but there are some telnet commands to disable the on-board GPS: "synconboard on/off". This will prevent your 450 AP from getting sync from the on-board GPS. However, this will not reset the on-board GPS. Unfortunat…

While the investigation into the root cause continues with the GPS chipmaker and others, the symptoms and recovery recommendations are contained in the Field Service Bulletin below. While we believe that this was a one-time occurrence due to a satellite maintenance procedure performed on news year eve, the recovery procedures in the FSB are recommended by Cambium in the slight chance there are still anomalies being seen.

Any update from Cambium on this? Is it possible to upgrade firmware on the cnPulse?
