Hi,
I'm interested in this scenarIo:
NETWORK --- AP (BRIDGED) <----> CPE (NAT MODE + BRIDGE VLAN X) <--> VOIP DEVICE (VLAN X) <---> CONSUMER EQUIPMENT (UNTAGGED AND MANAGED BY CPE)
UNTAGGED TRAFFIC -> WAN TRAFFIC
VLAN X TRAFFIC -> VOIP TRAFFIC
BEHIND THE CPE:
UNTAGGED TRAFFIC -> LAN TRAFFIC
VLAN X TRAFFIC -> VOIP TRAFFIC
The CPE is in router mode (NAT) and handles all traffic in the LAN (DHCP server, etc..).
At the same time the CPE is bridging an VLAN X from WLAN to LAN in order to pass tagged traffic for an specific VLAN.
The 1st device is an ATA which handles the VLAN X traffic. The device is an SPA122 which handles voip traffic in the vlan and passthru the untagged traffic (lan).
I'm using this paradigm right now with ubiquity and works perfectly because all the ATA behind nat router issues dissapears, I can enable both ATA ports without problems and also the T.38 protocol (FAX) works perfectly.
Best regards
Antonio
