Is the 450i 3G Integrated Access Point (C030045A002B) being discontinued? It doesn’t appear to be carried by our normal vendors at this time. If so, what is the recommended replacement?
It is not discontinued. Unfortunately, we are still struggling to meet product demands, and lead times are quite long for certain products (this being one of them). The best thing to do is get your order placed, so your channel partner can escalate the needs to us.
Any chance you can share a list of affected products? I assume there are others like me planning for upgrades in the near term. Just would be handy info to have. Also do you have any further detail than “quite long”, are we talking 6-12 weeks or longer?

Lead times are published and available to our distribution channel. Please see your reseller for current product lead times. As they begin to replenish their inventory, product will become more readily available. Some products (3 GHz 450b, for example) are readily available in the channel today.
Thank you for the explanation, it just seems odd that some of the resellers have removed the part number from their page instead of posting anything such as an out of stock message. 450i 3G AP is no longer listed on WAV. 450i 3G AP is no longer listed on CTI. 450i 3G is listed as Out-of-Stock–Available to Backorder on Streakwave.
