Jitter Reporting w/HWS in 7.9.2

It seems I’ve read that jitter would read higher with hardware scheduling, but someone please confirm.

We switched our network to 7.2.9 at midnight last night. We switched to HWS at 00:45. Every subscriber’s graph did this, yet none of them are having issues with reregs?

Is it safe for me to assume that this change in our jitter statistics is “normal”.

Thanks

I seen increase from about 2 Jitter to around 8 - 10 jitter. I read somewhere that it was normal for this to happen. I also found this:

Micers, how did your link tests show when the jitter was high? Thanks

On some links the jitter fluctuates wildly. On others it seems more stable. Even on links where it is changing fairly rapidly we are seeing excellent thruputs with HWS.

We have had no more drops in the past 12 hourse than we had during the same time period yesterday.

All in all I'd say the firmware is working for us. We are only running 23 nodes, all 900 MHz units.

Autoupdate works fine thru CNUT if you follow the instructions regarding the new .jar file that needs to be added to CNUT.

Thanks Moto ... nice work.
