The layer 2 functionality of the 320 series was slated for July, is there any news on this? Beta versions or anything? We have everything we need for a major 320 rollout but the boss says it has to be layer 2.

I really need to get the layer 2 funtionality … having no vlan is really effecting my ability to go full scale. We deployed 3 towers so far, 2 @ 450’ and one at 260’. We are getting excellent performance using 7Mhz channel width.

Absolutely ANY update on when the firmware will be available allowing us to Bridge this equipment?
This is a joke. At first we were told June, then July, then end of August. Now it’s September 2010. Through the grapevine I’ve heard the new firmware was stable and should have been released last month.
Your severely hindering the sale of your equipment by not having this firmware available. Everyone is familiar with your FSK environment and no one wants to complicate their network.
We currently have equipment installed on a tower but we are only testing at this point. We will not invest in any further PMP equipment until we can bridge!

I’ll be testing this tomorrow morning and appreciate the work you guys have put into this, though admittedly I’m not excited about being forced to change the AP’s convergence mode to support SM bridging.
One of the Pre Migration steps in going from layer 3 to 2 is to upgrade the CMM4 Ehterway switch firmware to version 1.9. Could someone provide a link to this upgrade. Thanks

Thanks for the link, I had a couple of hiccups during my upgrade but fortunately it's all on the bench still and not in production so no biggie.
So far, the features work as advertised and as a network guy, I'm ecstatic to get RIP out of my network.
